Next-Gen Maruti Swift Launch: All You Need to Know

Upon launch, the new-gen Maruti Swift will continue to lock horns with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The Swift has been a cornerstone for Maruti Suzuki for nearly two decades, serving as one of its primary breadwinners in India. The all-new version of the Swift, set to launch today, will feature subtle styling updates, additional features, and a brand-new engine.

Next-Gen Maruti Swift Design

The exterior styling of the new-gen Swift remains reminiscent of the current model, a key selling point for the Swift. However, it receives subtle cosmetic changes, including:

  • Codenamed Z12E, this new 3-cylinder motor is expected to come with a mild hybrid setup as standard across all variants.
  • The engine is projected to produce 81 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque.
  • Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
